Stacker for heating cable bundles
This gravity conveyor stacker is designed from a lightweight modular building system so that it can be easily changed or moved if necessary. It consists of three separate conveyors with three tracks above each other. At the higher end, the feeder inserts a plastic container with the cable bundle for one vehicle. The container is moved by gravity towards the other end, where the infrared heaters are placed. These heat the insulation of the cables so that the bundles can be more easily bent and put in the car bodywork.
Interesting facts
After removing the container with the heated cables, the following container is automatically moved under the heaters by gravity. The operator puts the empty container aside to the designated place for return collection. The temperature can be continuously adjusted, for instance - according to the external conditions. In the winter, imported cables have a lower temperature and therefore need to be heated more.
