Door mounting manipulator

In this project, the manipulator was modified for a new type of car. The manipulator works in the following mode – it takes the door from the incoming hanger, turns to the car, tilts the door to the required angle and pushes the door to the mounting position. The operator then screws the upper/lower hinges and one screw in the middle (for the broken door damper).

Interesting facts

The modification consisted in changing the position of the front grip of the manipulator in the frame structure to compensate for the change in the door height of the new model as it was the largest in terms of dimensions. However, the manipulator had to continue working for the mounting of the other four car models for which it had originally been designed.
